My family was in a bind when our landlord informed us that she needed to move back into the lease house we were in, for personal reasons. Sheri Holcomb is just an amazing realtor! My husband and I wanted to buy land and build a house. Sheri immediately found many choices! As we viewed the properties the weather was not cooperating a few days prior, however Sheri just took off in the mud without any worries and proceeded to show the property. Sheri is outstanding!!! -- I recommend her most highly, but her entire team is respected, not only in Red Oak, but in Ellis County and beyond. We had been looking for the impossible dream house and she found it for us. She engaged with us -- admittedly picky buyers -- to hone in on what was worth seeing. She would scout out houses for us and then recommend seeing the ones that fit. Sheri’s only goal was to provide us a home. We were not a customer in her mind, but a family in need of a home. Once we decided to bid on a house Sheri was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the initial bid fell through due to a failure on the seller to disclose a critical fact. We decided to purchase a slightly distressed property and do remodels to suit our tastes while we were still living in Florida. He worked with us to ensure the property was inspected and we knew potential problems before our option period expired and to develop a baseline for the property condition as we went forward.
